An event desired and organized by the inhabitants of Torre Pedrera who live this seaside resort all year round, even when the lights of the summer clubs go out and even when the last tourists leave to go home. It is a way of highlighting the rural origins of a town which has dedicated itself to tourism but which in reality has its roots in a 'local' tradition.ancient tradition linked to the care of the earth and the products of nature.
East Coast Festival
An unmissable event for all fans of historic engines and exclusive for lovers of the American engines only. A two-day event that begins with the gathering and parade of the "old ladies" on the waterfront, accompanied by music and many food standsto end the next day with the prize-giving ceremony, entertainment and music.

Visit Leonardo's canal port of Cesenatico
Commissioned to Leonardo Da Vinci by Cesare Borgia, to make up for the long-standing problem of the silting up of the inlet, the Canal Harbour is the beating heart of Cesenatico as well as the heart of the city. one of the most romantic panoramas of Romagna. Dozens of fishing boats with colorful sails occupy the two sides of the channel along which, over the years, numerous boats have been built. restaurants famous for their seafood, clubs and pubs with lovely verandas. The oldest part of the canal also houses the Floating Maritime Museum.
Cattolica Aquarium
Unfortunately, most of the amusement parks in the area are outdoors, but fortunately not all of them! The routes of theCattolica Aquarium are, in fact, indoor. The structure houses over 100 exhibition tanks and 3000 specimens of 400 different species: during the tour of the park you will learn about the sea and its inhabitants.
Verucchio
Easily reachable in only 25 minutes by car. Considered to be the "cradle of the Malatesta", this hamlet houses one of the best preserved fortifications of the Seignory. From the Rocca del Sasso, historically linked to the Divine Comedy through the romantic story of "Paolo and Francesca", you can enjoy a spectacular view that embraces the entire Riviera, from Cervia to Gabicce. In the second half of July, the centre comes alive with the Verucchio Festivalwhose musical review since 2005 is curated by Ludovico Einaudi.
Castle of Gradara
One of the most romantic castles in the area, the scene of the troubled love story between Paolo and Francescaalso recounted by Dante in his Divine Comedy. A suburb perfectly maintained where you can still breathe the ancient atmosphere of the past, with pretty and typical local craft shops, the beautiful castle museum and many events throughout the year. Gradara is situated just in the heart of Cattolica's hinterland and is easily accessible by car and public means of transport. beautiful castle which stands out from the top of a hill, also visible from the A14 motorway which runs along the coast.
Santarcangelo
Situated few kilometres far from Torre Pedrera, the old town of Santarcangelo stands on the top of Mount Giove, just above the homonymous tuffaceous caves. The village is criss-crossed by narrow streets and stairways that climb up to the top, overlooked by the Malatesta Fortress. At the foot of the village there is the main square with a large arch dedicated to Pope Clement XIV (who was born in Santarcangelo). Along the streets of the village you will find numerous restaurants and wine barswhere you can sample the local cuisine. Enter the oldest part of the town up to the restaurant La Sangiovesawhere, between one course and another, you can admire the works of Tonino Guerra.

Saint Leo
Another fascinating castle of Rimini's hinterland, an imposing fortress overlooking a high hill from which it is possible to admire a breathtaking view over the splendid green hills that stretch as far as the sea. Given the conformation of Mount San Leo, this place has been a military fortress since Roman times and has experienced many vicissitudes over the centuries. Today the fortress is home to an important museum which tells the military history of this site and houses a remarkable collection of ancient and modern weapons.
Spend an afternoon on a trip to the Po Delta
If you love hiking, visit the Po Delta Natural ParkThis is one of the most important protected areas in Italy and Europe. You can walk or cycle along the paths of the reserve and see the large colony of pink flamingos, herons, turtles, pheasants, cranes and many others depending on migration. Also not to be missed are the bird watching excursions and boat trips planned by the park.
Piadina Experience Tour
In San Giovanni in Marignano, just a few kilometres from Torre Pedrera, you can enjoy a unique experience. You can discover the history of one of the symbols of Romagna, the Piadina, through a technological and interactive route. The journey starts from the Neolithic age up to the present day. You can rediscover rural traditions, see the successes of champions in the 'Piadina and Motors' section, and as a surprise you can taste a delicious Piadina tasting.

...Pleasant Surprise
I stayed from 12 to 25 July with my 93 year old father. I was looking for a structure near the sea and I found this by searching the web. It was a pleasant surprise: friendly and helpful staff (Nico fantastic), clean and recently renovated.
